The club was chartered on Jan 17th, 1973. Its sponsoring club was the Teeswater Lions Club. We were an all men’s club until 1990 when ladies were invited to join and now the club thrives with 24 members.

You can see by our past project page the impact that we have had in the community. Our yearly events page shows those programs and fundraisers that we carry out in our fiscal year.

Being a member of the Lions club will give you the opportunity to identify needs in the community and help to answer those needs if the club decides.

The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Tiverton Lions Hall from September to June. All meetings are dinner meetings with some club business on the agenda.

In 2004, the Tiverton and District Lions Club was voted the number 1 club in the world based on a theme 'Building a Better Tomorrow'. This was largely due to the many programs that we sponsored for the youth in our area.

If you are interested in a little investment, with great returns by joining us, please talk to any member or send us an e-mail from our contact page.
